This scientific study (I Know, hard to read if you are not a biochemist) shows one of the major benefits of Turmeric(curcumin). I take it daily, and have for years. More and more studies like this prove its value. Adding black pepper to it enhances its health benefits.I obtain my Turmeric with black pepper from http://turmericaustralia.com.au/. It is expensive if bought from normal retail channels, but online much cheaper. When I was talking about the benefits of turmeric with a patient, she introduced me to the turmericaustralia website. It is amazing how much I learn from my patients!

Dear Dr Holloway,
We have just helped our son and his family to relocate to Sydney for work.
I am in a great deal of pain in my knees and hips from the necessary work that is involved in packing and unpacking a house full of stuff.
My question is : Is it ok to take a turmeric based antiflamatory with the Naltrexone you have prescribed for me? Or can I increase the dose of the Naltrexone until I feel some relief?
I look forward to hearing your advise on this matter.
Regards,

Dear Dr. Holloway, this is the company I get my turmeric from. The product is pure with no colours or preservatives.
Fresh powdered turmeric is put into wheat free capsules when you make your order.
